In an odd and truly strange turn of events, GAP has now decided to go back to the original logo design they were trying to replace. Many are wondering if this was a calculated publicity stunt or just a corporate flub. It’s hard to say, but I think saying it was planned would be giving them too much credit.
With a rather popular post I wrote entitled, ‘How to find the right illustrator’, I thought I would contribute this one for those looking for logo designers.

There are a lot of key components in creating a logo design. Elements like font selection, design of the logomark, graphic style and of course, color. Of the group, color seems to be the least tangible of all the logo design assets. Yet, a great logo color scheme can be quite powerful in setting the tone for mark and the brand.
