Very often, you see the oh-so slick and beautifully-crafted logo designs of your favorite sports teams. But, have you ever wondered how the designs evolved into what you see now, the completed logos? Well, there is an interesting world that combines logo design with the related discipline of illustration.



I’ll say it again. It would have been cheaper to use a designer.

A Florida high school that is now being sued by the Chrysler corporation for illegally using the well-known Dodge Ram mark for their school mascot. It would have been cheaper to use a designer–really.

Here’s a new logo illustration project I completed for San Jacinto College, located in East Harris County, Texas. There are three campuses, each with its own rather established sports mascot.
